I want to work where engineers help define the problem.

I am most useful on product-led teams shipping real customer value: founder-led software, AI-native products, full-stack product surfaces, native experiences, and workflow systems where quality depends on both implementation and judgment.

I use AI agents extensively, but not as a substitute for understanding the domain. I care about bounded execution, observable state, testable contracts, and clear approval lines—especially when faster implementation can amplify a weak decision.

Experience / Selected arc

From long-running systems to solo product delivery.

The throughline is end-to-end ownership: understand the product, make the system legible, and keep it operable after launch.

2025—now

Marcbex LLC

Founder and solo engineer

Building production consumer products across web and native iOS, including kardfolio and Cubby. Owning product strategy, UX, implementation, analytics, billing, release, and AI-assisted engineering operations.

2024—2026

DuelNow

Co-founder / CTO

Co-founded DuelNow and led cloud-native product and platform engineering across AWS, Node.js, Kubernetes, observability, authentication, event-driven systems, team coordination, and cost discipline.

2013—2023

StormX

Co-founder / CTO

Co-founded StormX and built engineering through a long startup arc—from early product work to platform scale, reliability, infrastructure modernization, team building, and organizational structure.

Technical surface

Broad enough to ship the whole product. Selective enough to protect the core.

Product surfaces

React, Next.js, Astro, SwiftUI, TypeScript, interface systems, native platform behavior.

Backend + data

Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Supabase, APIs, durable workflows, event systems, domain modeling.

Cloud + operations

AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, infrastructure as code, observability, release operations.

AI-native delivery

Agent orchestration, MCP and tool integrations, approval gates, source-backed automation, review systems.

Product learning

PostHog, lifecycle instrumentation, activation contracts, evidence review, iterative product decisions.
